Managed IT Services in Dubai
Most Dubai businesses don’t decide to outsource their IT on a good day. They decide after the third outage in a quarter, or the morning a leaver’s account turns out to still be active, or when the one person who “does the IT” resigns — and everyone realises nobody else knows the passwords.
Managed IT services replace that fragility with ownership: AQLON monitors, maintains and supports your technology continuously — helpdesk, servers, network, Microsoft 365, security and backup — for a fixed monthly cost, under a written agreement that says exactly what we’re responsible for. One accountable partner, based in Dubai, delivering across the UAE.

What we provide in Dubai
Why choose AQLON in Dubai
Dubai organisations choose AQLON to replace unpredictable downtime with fixed-cost reliability — and one accountable partner for IT, security and ELV instead of three vendors pointing at each other.
Areas covered: Business Bay · Downtown · DIFC · Deira · JLT · Dubai Investment Park · Al Quoz · JAFZA · Dubai South · Dubai Silicon Oasis
From Firefighting to Owned IT
Reactive IT has a rhythm every operations manager recognises: things break, someone calls, work stops, an invoice arrives. Nobody is watching between incidents, so the same problems return — and the costs are unpredictable in the one way finance hates.
A managed service inverts that. Your environment is monitored continuously, patched on schedule and maintained deliberately, so most issues are found and fixed before your team notices. Support has one front door. Reporting tells you what was prevented, not just what broke. And the cost is a known monthly number — which is usually the moment outsourced IT stops being a grudge purchase and starts being an operating decision.
What’s Included
Helpdesk and user support. One place your team contacts — remote-first for speed, with on-site IT support from Dubai-based engineers when hands are needed.
24/7 monitoring and maintenance. Continuous IT monitoring of servers, network and endpoints, with patching and updates handled on a schedule — not when someone remembers.
Microsoft 365 and cloud. Licensing, identity, email security and workload management — detailed below, alongside our cloud managed services.
Network and server care. Switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, on-premises servers and storage kept healthy — with server-room and structured cabling capability in-house when the physical layer is the real problem.
Security and backup baseline. Endpoint protection, patch discipline, MFA and tested backups as standard — expanded below.
Vendor management. Your internet provider, printer contracts and software renewals handled by us, so your office manager stops refereeing between suppliers.
Exact scope, coverage hours and service levels are documented in your agreement — not implied by a webpage.
Managed IT, IT AMC or Break/Fix?
These get used interchangeably in Dubai, and they shouldn’t be — they’re different tools at different prices:
| Break/fix | IT AMC | Managed IT services | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How it works | Something breaks, you call, you pay per job | Annual contract: agreed response, scheduled maintenance visits | Continuous monitoring, maintenance, helpdesk and reporting |
| Who spots problems | Your staff | Mostly your staff, plus periodic checks | Monitoring — usually before staff notice |
| Cost pattern | Unpredictable | Known annual fee, extras vary | Fixed monthly, per user or device |
| Best for | Very small setups, one-off jobs | Stable environments wanting priority response | Businesses where IT downtime costs real money |
We provide all three. If an IT AMC genuinely fits your environment better, we’ll say so at the assessment — a managed contract sold to a business that doesn’t need one comes back as a cancellation, and we’d rather earn the upgrade later.
What “24/7” Actually Means Here
Two different things hide inside that number, and providers blur them. We won’t.
Monitoring runs 24/7. Failed backups, failing disks, offline services and suspicious sign-ins are detected whenever they happen — 3am included.
Response follows your agreement. Response times, escalation paths and after-hours arrangements are defined in writing to match how your business operates — a clinic, a trading floor and a logistics yard don’t need the same cover, and shouldn’t pay for the same cover.
What you’re buying is the end of the worst version: discovering on Sunday that the server died on Thursday.
Microsoft 365, Azure and the Cloud Layer
Most Dubai offices now live in Microsoft 365, and most are paying for licences nobody uses while one shared admin password holds the tenancy together.
Under management, the layer gets run properly: licensing matched to actual headcount; identity done right — MFA enforced, joiners provisioned cleanly, leavers disabled the same day; email security tuned; SharePoint and Teams shaped around how the business actually works; and Azure workloads sized, monitored and backed up rather than quietly accumulating cost. Device policy through Intune and identity through Entra ID are part of the same conversation where your environment warrants them.
Migrations — from another provider, an ageing server, or licence chaos — are planned around your trading hours.
Fully Managed or Co-Managed
Fully managed — we are your IT department: users, systems, security, vendors, budget advice.
Co-managed — you have an IT manager or a small team; we carry the monitoring, patching, helpdesk overflow and after-hours weight while they keep the local knowledge and the strategic work. It usually costs less than the next hire and covers far more hours.
If you run IT and need a partner rather than a replacement, say so — the model is built for you.
The Security and Backup Baseline
Every managed client gets a baseline, not an optional extra: endpoint protection on every machine, operating systems and applications patched on schedule, MFA on identities, email filtering, and backups that are actually test-restored — because an untested backup is a hope, not a plan.
Two honest boundaries. First, a baseline is not a full security programme: businesses with regulatory exposure or elevated risk should look at our cybersecurity services for assessment, detection and response beyond the baseline. Second, backup responsibility is stated in your agreement — what we back up, how often, where it lives and how restores are verified — so recovery is a documented commitment, not an assumption.
Who Owns What
The question sophisticated buyers ask and providers dodge. The short version of our responsibility matrix:
| AQLON manages | You own | Vendors own |
|---|---|---|
| Monitoring, patching, backups and restore testing | Business decisions: approvals, budgets, access-policy sign-off | Their products’ faults and warranties (we manage the tickets) |
| Helpdesk, incident response, escalation | Telling us about joiners, leavers and changes | ISP line faults (we chase them so you don’t) |
| Microsoft 365 and Azure administration, licence hygiene | Physical custody of devices | Third-party software roadmaps |
| Documentation and reporting | The data itself — it’s yours, always | — |
The full matrix ships with every proposal, so nothing rests on assumption.
Switching Providers Without the Drama
The real reason businesses stay with underperforming IT support is that switching feels risky. Here’s the process, so it doesn’t have to be:
01 · Assessment — free. We audit the environment: devices, servers, licences, backups, security posture, and the problems your team stopped reporting.
02 · Proposal. Scope, assumptions, exclusions, service levels and escalation — documented, itemised and fixed.
03 · Handover. We collect documentation, credentials and vendor relationships from the incumbent — professionally and directly, without you refereeing.
04 · Stabilise. The first weeks close the risky gaps: patching, backup failures, unmanaged admin accounts, the router nobody knows the password to.
05 · Steady state. Monitoring live, helpdesk open, maintenance scheduled, reporting monthly. Most switches happen without your users noticing anything except fewer problems.
Dubai Coverage and Who We Suit
We support organisations across Dubai — Business Bay, DIFC, JLT, Deira, Al Quoz, Dubai South and the free zones — and multi-site businesses across the UAE under one agreement, with the same helpdesk and consolidated reporting (our Abu Dhabi managed IT page covers the capital).
The model fits offices and professional firms where downtime is billable hours; clinics and customer-facing businesses that can’t queue for support; warehouses and industrial sites where “IT” includes the yard Wi-Fi and the weighbridge PC; and growing companies whose new office needs setting up properly the first time.
And because AQLON is also an IT infrastructure and security-systems integrator, clients who genuinely need the physical layer — cabling, server rooms, CCTV, access control — can put it under the same accountability rather than a second contractor. Not every client needs that. The ones who do, really do.
Delivered Work, Not Adjectives
Claims are easy in this market, so we publish our evidence: quantified project case studies with real scope — like a 75-room fibre-optic network built, spliced, tested and documented floor by floor. Browse the projects section and judge the workmanship for yourself.
What Affects the Price
Managed IT in Dubai is priced per user or per device, per month. Five things move the number:
1. Headcount and devices under management.
2. Coverage level — business hours versus extended or after-hours arrangements.
3. Scope — monitoring-only through to full helpdesk, security, backup and vendor management.
4. Your environment’s condition — a tidy, documented network costs less to run than one that needs stabilising first.
5. On-site needs — how often you genuinely need an engineer physically present.
We don’t publish rates because honest managed pricing doesn’t exist without an assessment. What we do publish is the promise: after the free assessment you receive a written proposal documenting scope, assumptions, exclusions, service levels, escalation and a fixed monthly price. The number you see is the number you pay. Request a managed IT proposal to start there instead.
Frequently asked questions
What’s included in managed IT services?
Continuous monitoring and maintenance, helpdesk support, patching, Microsoft 365 and cloud administration, a security and backup baseline, and vendor management — with the exact scope, hours and service levels documented in your agreement.
How much do managed IT services cost in Dubai?
Pricing is per user or per device per month, driven by headcount, coverage hours, scope, the condition of your environment and on-site needs. After a free assessment, the price is fixed in a written proposal — no meters, no surprise invoices.
Is support really 24/7?
Monitoring is genuinely 24/7 — faults and security events are detected whenever they occur. Human response times and after-hours arrangements are defined in your agreement, matched to how your business operates, so you get the cover you need without paying for cover you don’t.
Can you manage our Microsoft 365 and Azure environment?
Yes — licensing, identity and MFA, email security, SharePoint and Teams, plus Azure workloads sized, monitored and backed up. Licence cleanups alone often recover a meaningful slice of the monthly cost.
We have an IT manager — is this still relevant?
Yes: co-managed IT. Your manager keeps local knowledge and strategy; we carry monitoring, patching, helpdesk overflow and after-hours weight. It usually costs less than a second hire and covers far more hours.
How hard is it to switch from our current IT provider?
Easier than living with the wrong one. We run the handover — documentation, credentials, vendor relationships — directly with the incumbent, then stabilise the environment in the first weeks. Most switches happen without users noticing anything except fewer problems.
Do you provide on-site support in Dubai?
Yes — remote-first for speed, with Dubai-based engineers on-site when hardware, networks or new setups need hands, across the city, the free zones and the industrial areas. On-site provisions are part of the agreed scope.
Can one agreement cover multiple locations?
Yes — offices, branches, warehouses and free-zone entities across Dubai and the wider UAE run under one agreement, one helpdesk and consolidated reporting.
What SLAs do you offer?
Response and escalation commitments are agreed per client and written into the service agreement rather than advertised as one-size-fits-all numbers. The assessment establishes what your operation actually requires; the proposal puts it in writing.
Who is responsible for our backups?
Under a managed agreement, we are — and the agreement says so explicitly: what’s backed up, how often, where it lives, and how restores are tested. Backups that are never test-restored are a hope, not a plan; ours are verified.
