The main cost drivers are the number of systems in scope, the device count (cameras, readers, outlets, speakers), cabling distances and containment complexity, the compliance standard your premises must meet, and whether you’re in a new build, a fit-out or an occupied retrofit. Integration adds engineering up front — tying access control to CCTV, or ELV systems into a BMS — but usually pays it back in lower running costs.
