The name
ADMCC, MCC or ADMC — what’s the actual name?
The same regulator gets written three different ways, and it’s worth clearing up before anything else — not least because it tells you something about the companies you’re comparing.
MCC is the Monitoring and Control Centre, the Abu Dhabi authority that regulates security and surveillance systems across the emirate. “ADMCC” is the widely used longhand — Abu Dhabi Monitoring and Control Centre — and it’s the term most people type into Google, which is why you’ll see it on this page. You’ll also see “ADMC-approved contractor” used as shorthand — same authority again.
Here’s the practical use of knowing this: if a supplier tells you MCC stands for something else, or attributes the regulator to a media company, that’s not a typo — it’s a signal about how well they know the rules they’re claiming to install against. We’ve seen both mistakes on the first page of Google.

Why ADMCC compliance matters
The requirements are specific: what your cameras must cover, how the system must record, how long footage must be retained, what documentation you must hold — and who is permitted to do the work. Installed systems are registered and inspected against all of it.
Getting it wrong is expensive in an unremarkable way. A non-compliant system fails inspection. A failed inspection produces findings with a rectification deadline. Unresolved findings escalate into fines and can complicate licensing — and “we already had cameras” is not a defence, because an ordinary installation and a compliant one are different pieces of engineering even when the hardware looks the same.
And there’s the quieter cost: non-compliant systems tend to fail you at exactly the wrong moment — footage retained for less than the MCC-required minimum, coverage that misses the incident, an export that doesn’t work when the police ask for it.

01 · Site survey — free. We walk the premises, map coverage needs, and establish your premises classification — because that’s what your requirements flow from.
02 · Compliant design and fixed quote. Camera plan, device schedule, storage sized for the required retention, and submission-ready drawings — followed by a fixed, itemised quotation. The number you see is the number you pay.
03 · Approval and installation. We submit to the authority and handle the back-and-forth, then install to the approved design — phased around your operation, with disruptive work outside business hours.
04 · Registration, commissioning and handover. The system is registered, tested end to end, and handed over with complete documentation — and we stay with you through inspection until it’s signed off.
